Crossing the creek
Years ago, when I first started driving, the road up the Des Moines River crossed this creek here. I don't recall that it was ever dry, but never drier than what it is this year. The tracks across the bottom of the photo, show where someone used this abandoned road to cross the creek between Dayton and Stratford, Iowa.
