Beautiful Badlands
Early Morning Deer Trio on the Little Missouri River, North Dakota
On a late July morning, deer, bison, and Texas long horn cattle passed through our campsite before the sun peeked over the eastern horizon. As the day awoke, we made our way to the Little Missouri River from our campsite in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. There, we found ourselves immersed in another world, one of silence except for the sound of hooves across dry ground, and then faint splashing as animals of the North Dakota badlands leisurely began their day watering on the historic Little Mo.
Find out about our adventure,,, even more wild animals greeted us that morning!! https://wp.me/p8zmWn-1hb
