The Devil Passes Here, in the North Dakota Badlands
One of the most awe inspiring areas of the North Dakota Badlands is Devils Pass! At one time this was a road which connected rugged places, traversed by vehicles and horse drawn wagons. Now, because of the ever present fast erosion of the badlands, only a narrow path remains. It is often used by those horse back riding in the area, as well as hikers and bicyclists as part of the Maah Daah Hey Trail.
