What they don't acknowledge is that flaring today is about a third of what it has been historically and continues to drop as recovery methods are enhanced and improved to capture the natural gas.

on August 20, 2015I agree, it does seem complicated, and it is. Lots of effort to first find the oil, two miles down, then to release it from the shale rock, then to force pressure in to the hole and retrieve the oil. I'm like you -- I'd like to know more, too.
