Fence Line at the Western Border of the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota
This tall fence marks the western border of the south unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park in western North Dakota. Beyond this fence is the Petrified Forest Plateau, a grassland area west of the Little Missouri River, which contains the Maah Daah Hey Trail and the Petrified Forest Trails. The area immediately to then west of the fence is US Forest Service monitored public land, part of the Little Missouri National Grasslands.
