Bison

Bull Bison at Rest

This bull bison was at rest and peaceful when we drove up to visit with him at the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. Male bison can be dangerous, and sometimes weigh in at 2,000 pounds, measuring up to 6.5 feet tall.
