On a late day drive through the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park our goal was to catch the beautiful vistas of the badlands during Golden Hour. And, to observe wildlife moving before sunset. A calm family of mule deer greeted us on our excursion through the park. This little spotted guy was the most welcoming of them all! North Unit, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, near Watford City, North Dakota.
